Thoughtworks is a leading global technology consultancy that is not just closely associated with the movement for agile software development but also because of their strong focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Diversity and inclusion have become buzzwords, especially in the tech industry over the past years, but what do they mean? How can we shape a diverse and inclusive environment at our workplace? And how does it feel to work in a diverse environment? The presentation will focus on sharing experiences and learnings from building more inclusive workplaces in the IT industry.

About Susanne Kirndorfer

Susanne Kirndorfer used to work in applied linguistic research and language teaching at universities in Germany and abroad. After some years she decided to try new things to give her career a new meaning and moved into operational roles in the IT-Industry. Today she works as Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Thoughtworks Germany.
