About AXEL SPRINGER
Axel Springer SE is Europ’s leading digital publisher. The digital media channels contribute more than three quarters of total revenues today.
As a matter of fact, one of the largest European media companies also kind of started in a garage. Axel Springer Verlag founded his publishing house 1946 in Hamburg, the editors worked in the first year above a storeroom for tea and spices, often without electricity, and with borrowed typewriters.
Through consistent internationalization and digitization, Axel Springer SE is not only German’s market leader in the printing business but also through subsidiaries, joint ventures and licenses active in more than 40 countries.
Now it’s about to pursue the digitization faster and more vigorously. For Axel Springer SE, informative and entertaining journalism is also a viable business model in the future, along with marketing and classified ads, the other two business fields the company is traditionally strong.
In the tradition of their founder, who was ahead of his time pursuing journalistic and technological innovation, the Axel Springer SE moves in new directions. The company is dedicated to the goal of building a growth-and-yield digital portfolio, and thus connects now more than ever with today’s generation of founders: digital start-ups. Along with the transformation of the established strong media brands, own online developments and strategically aligned acquisitions of Web companies, the networking component fits the international digital strategy: Axel Springer SE is Europe’s leading digital publisher.

The change is due to a high number of last-minute ticket cancellation on the day of the event, which leads to other members that are on waiting list unable to attend, while during the event we still have spots left.
We hope that this will help to have full capacity events and less confusion with members-pay-list and constant reminder of ticket cancellation 🙂
The new guideline takes place from our next Get-Together hosted by Axel Springer on December 7th. Event location only fits 70 people!
P.S. Supporter members will have reserved spots for guaranteed access to the Get-Togethers.
